Rock legends Bloc Party will release their fourth album, appropriately titled Four on August 21st.

The long-awaited return from their indefinite hiatus finds the band playing select dates this summer, making their debut at HARD Summer in Los Angeles August 3rd & 4th. The band has inked with label Frenchkiss, founded by members of Les Savy Fav, who’ve previously released adventurous independent rock including the Drums, Passion Pit, the Antlers, Local Natives, and the Turing Machine.

Below is the trailer which hints at some of the laudable directions the band has taken with their new opus. It’s understood the album’s title refers not just to its sequence in their discography or the length of their absence since Intimacy in 2008, but more importantly the extraordinary ferocity they have as a quartet.
